Am I misreading the requirement for this question?
For test case 3 5 4 I can't see how 9 is the result.
Printer 1 = 1/3 page per second Printer 2 = 1/5 page per second
Combined total work per second = .5333
So. 4 / .53333 = 7.547... = 8 seconds. Using 9 * .53333 gives 4.77. I'm trying to make sure before I fail the exercise.
Thanks.
Well, You assume that they do the job together all the time, but they devide all work on small chunks. The last paper is printed by only one printer, the second one has nothing to do at the time.
Hm. Ok that makes sense. My answer was them working together all the time which isn't technically possible.
