Hello,
since I'm here for almost a year I finally want to introduce myself!
I'm Tobi(as) from Germany (near Munich), I am 28 years old and I'm working as a freelancer for statistics and statistical programming with R. I've studied statistics (B.Sc. and M.Sc.).
Most of the time I help students with their problems in R and with their statistical part of their thesis.
This is fun and I have absolutely no problems to get jobs because the demand is huge but on long term I want to work as a software developer with more challenging programming tasks.
This is why I'm thinking about studying computer sciences next year.
I really love this page, thanks a lot for your great work! I wanted to learn python or another language better with this page but unfortunately I'm using R most of the time, maybe because I'm quite lazy :D
My hobbies are reading (favourite authors: John Irving and Charles Bukowski) and writing, music (Björk, Slipknot but also quite much rap) and long conversations with friends and a couple of beer :)

you should, by all means it's good to have more knowledge in different programming language. Plus it's largely use in statistical fields. :)
that is the widest range of music i think i have ever heard. i love it.
