This problem is about a game where the two players pull in opposite directions.

While the principle of pulling in opposite directions seemingly resembles many other game-like problems (e.g. Max-It) this one doesn't immediately look like something trivially transposable to something well-known :)) hm-m-m, though I guess it should nevertheless have some mapping to Nim (not sure)!
