any girls certificates

Have any girls get certificate here? Do you concider certificate for girl may be easier (less problems) by the way? I mean becaus girl more rare are coding.

There definitely were women among those awarded with certificates, though I usually can judge only by name, for example Miss_Python or FisherV (whom I know personally) - and also several who got high enough but haven't claimed certificate yet, like anna_swordy.

That's true, we still have less women in IT industry, at least as developers - though many of them prefer to be testers or autotesters. It seems like "legacy issue", girls have no problems with programming but they still rarely consider this industry.

I'm not sure I understand - but while it would be great to motivate girls, I think we are not going to give the same certificate on different conditions depending on gender. I think it may be considered unjust, sexism or I don't know what bad thing :)
P.S. by the way you seem to be doing well! with such progress you may soon reach stargazer rank anyway!
No, not "different conditions" for certificate. Current certificate should remain same for all. Just you can make aditional "aspiring girl coder certificate" for less tasks and give to who ask for it.
I dont mean for myself, Im not young enough to start programmer career )))
Well, thanks, I got the idea. I shall think about it... And anyway it is necessary to create some new picture and inscription for such kind of certificate...

Ok, let's try in "test-mode". I've added information to the certificates explanation. Some design is created also, though probably we can improve it later. It will be awarded for solving 85 problems (and only for those identifying themselves as females), on reaching "Fanatic" rank, so it is called Fanatic Girl-Coder diploma.
