This is probably a well-known system - but known mainly from children's book. So it's not a real challenge - rather cute implementational task.
We are given a text encoded with grille device - and want to decode it, knowing the grille pattern.

It says "So for grille of size W by H it is enough to pass H/2 numbers, each of W/2 bits!"
Should that be W bits? The example has a width of 8, and they are 8 bit numbers.
