I recently changed my github username, and when I logged into codeabbey I noticed all of my previous solutions are gone. I have a few saved but I don't know if this is normal and will this happen if I change it again?

Hi Friend!

Generally it is not very good idea to change github handle, since it is used in all your github urls.

Well, it is also used as part of your login identifier here, so if you change it, new account is created.

If you change it back (not sure it is possible) you'll login into old account. If it doesn't work I can poke in the DB and update your login identifier manually, just I need your exact old and new github handle.

My old Github handle was (redacted) and the new one is (redacted)

I tried changing it back and it did log me back into my old account(29 solved and 2 failed problems ) but I wish I can keep this Github username

Also, do you mind deleting this comment once you've changed it (I'm not sure if users can delete their own comments) ? I'm not really used to sharing my name online

Sorry for delay, I was just a bit busy these weeks in school and on my main job so got a bit distracted.

I think I found a surprisingly simple fix to the problem. Please try - you should be logged into your oldest account (one with 29 problems).
